There is still a bug in Loudblog, that has to do with cookies and sessions and all this stuff. If you cannot login to the admin area anymore, please try to:
* Delete the LB-cookie from your browser (You will have to search for your installation’s domain)
* Close your browser
* Open your browser again and try to login.
If this fails, try a different browser.
If this fails either, try a different machine.
If you want to avoid such problems, you have to logout correctly everytime you are finished with your Loudblog admin session.
I hope that I can fix this issue in the next version of Loudblog.

I'm having the same problem logging in to my admin site, and have tried the suggested fixes with no luck. I even tried using a different machine. Perhaps there's something I'm doing wrong here. To delete cookies, I'm going into Internet Options under my Control Panel and deleting all cookies. Is this correct? I've tried both firefox and IE with no luck. In case I messed up and wrote down the incorrect password, is there any way to retrieve the correct one? Please(!) help.
Thanks,
George

This might also be helpful: I also get an "error on page" warning at the bottom left of my browser with this text:
Error on Page
Line:31
Char:1
Error:'document.loginform.nickname' is null or not an object
code:0
URL:http://www.thepublicdomainaic.com/loudblog/index.php?page=record1
Thanks,

problem solved! I just deleted the databases on my php server, made the loudblog setup again and filled on the required directory field for the podcast www.sitename/podcast instead of only www.sitename .
i don't know, what the problem was.. but it works now. fine

A friend of mine tried setting me up again, and his install seems to work perfectly. I now have access to the admin page, and have had no further problems. Thanks, Matthew! If you need webhosting, try his site, www.mwsmedia.com. It rocks.

Hi - I have the problem too - try all these nice hints with no changes. I cannot login the first time to my new site. - the last answer make me wonder. where I can create a new user during the installation process? - I tried so much time - delete and create new databases so often - nothing helps. I'm a littlbe bit confused to realise the solution for that login-bug-problem. is there anybody to answer me in german language (maybe privatly) - info@schauecker.ch - thx a lot. Renée

If you have login problems, you might check this out:

I think I may know why some people have problems where they are sent back to the login page after having already logged in.
I removed the @ next to the session code, and found that the session couldn't be set because the headers had already been sent. I had a line of text at the beginning of ever page, sent by some code I had inserted into the index page when I was testing something.
Ask people to view the source of their login page and see if there is any text in front of the doctype declaration that shouldn't be there.

Does this makes sense to you??
